Having just been shopping for clothes for the first time in a couple of years I was struck by the amount of throwaway fashion on the shelves. There are many high street shops around which can easily be found on UK Net Guide which sell high fashion at very cheap prices for all ages.

I could have bought a whole new wardrobe for a couple of hundred pounds and yet this wealth of cheap clothes was rather off-putting in many respects.

Firstly you do not know the origin of the clothes and while I am sure that all the high street fashion stores are scrupulous in sourcing their clothes from factories that do not use cheap labour you have to wonder how they can sell so cheaply.

Secondly, there is the quality as I have bought cheap clothes in the past only to have buttons fall off and holes appear in a few weeks and a couple of washes.

As a society we should be reusing more, not throwing away after a few wears, so why not consider changing your shopping habits and instead of buying many cheaper pieces go for better quality but more expensive classic pieces which will serve you well for years. It may cost you more at the start but you know that they will last forever and still look good.
